Great food and service. Got my coffee cup filled often! Breakfast was pricey, ($75 for 4). The decor is fun in a western theme.

Went in during the dinner rush, glad we decided to wait and have our meal here. Fantastic steak, well worth the wait. Coupled with the stellar service from our waitress made for a fantastic experience. Absolutely loved the atmosphere inside, the piano player really sealed the old west vibe. Drinks were great as well. Definitely not the cheapest place in town, but very much so worth it if you are looking for a nice place to splurge on one night.

We stopped in for a drink & sat at the bar, but the place was bustling and seemed like a fun spot for dinner! Will have to try the next time we are in Ouray.

Matt is a WONDERFUL server! The food was excellent and I had the fillet mignon at medium and I have to say, it’s very rare to find a chef actually cook it to what I would call a picture perfect medium (I actually took a picture). I will definitely return this summer.

Unfortunately, we stopped here on the first night of our stay. It is unfortunate because it was bad. Just really bad. The vegetables were literally a weird color. I don’t think I have ever said that phrase, let alone typed it. Maybe a green/ grey color. Whatever color, they did not taste good. We each ordered a steak, which was a tad pricey, and each of us ordered an old fashioned to wash it down. The steaks were obviously a bulk frozen purchase from someone that sells horrible steaks and the old fashioned were straight out of an Applebee’s. Crushed ice-eek! We were certain that we were going to have a fantastic meal, but, no dice. Go over to Brickhouse or Bon Tons instead. Less expensive and much better food!

My wife and I are vegan diners and it is difficult to eat vegan on a 14 day vacation traveling the western states. When we went to Outlaw Restaurant everyone took great care of us. We had there spaghetti and marinara sauce ... It was fantastic! The fresh bread is delisious. It was so good that we came back the next night too. All their other meat dishes looked great and was enjoyed by all that we saw.

Overpriced and mediocre food. Ordered their house green pepper steak but it was awful. A perfectly good steak smothered in sauce...and it tasted like chinese pepper steak dish. I mean why kill a steak like that? The linguini with white clam sauce had so much sauce it looked almost like chicken noodle soup! I went there with others and all gave this place thumbs down. The roasted garlic appetizer was quite good though...but thats not good enough to save this pricey place.

Always consistent! Great staff with Colleen at the bar and Mathew is always on point with service. A local landmark while in Ouray.

The best landlocked seafood in Colorado. And the lamb chops stop time. Seriously. And the best food in this part of the state. If one is inclined to imbibe, throw a toast to John Wayne's hat hanging over the bar.

We ate here our last morning in town. I wish we would have been there more times. The food and service was great. Our server was a wonderful young lady, who's name I forgot now, had worked then since she was 14. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent food. Great place to go if you want to splurge a bit and have a really nice meal. Had the halibut special myself, had great flavor.

Cool little place. Our visit was a Saturday night. The live piano player was enjoyable. A bit pricey but good food and good service. The blackened prime rib was amazing!

Great atmosphere and phenomenal food.

Went here on vacation last week.. made reservations cause of 11 people in our group.. had to wait longer for a table but it was all good. . Husband tried to order prime rib but told it was out..🤔 so he ordered a steak. Let's just say they screwed him all night with his food. Rest of us had a lovely dinner. I will be honest I miss the Silver Nugget that use to be there in Ouray😞🤐 too many people packed into such a small space.

Fun friendly old west bar and restaurant. Live piano great food and exceptional drinks make this a favorite for locals as well as tourists. Located on the main drag in town, you will not be disappointed

Travels Beware! I went in with a group of 9 and the place was packed so we had good expectations. Several of us ordered the 10oz filet mignon with a baked potato considering how busy it was the food came out in a decent time but when we got the food several of are steaks where med to well done when we ordered med rare. My steak came out cooked right but it was bland. I don’t think they salted or marinated the steak and it was tough. Also we ordered all baked potatoes and one was raw and one was over cooked. They all came with a side of cooked mix vegetable that where slightly cooked on the edges but cold in the middle. And for a meal that was 30$ + a meal it was unacceptable. I did not bring it up at the restaurant because I did not want a refund or to cause a problem. The two stars was for the hard working server.

Staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was a fun mix of western and outlaw as the name implies. Food was prepared well and was of good quality! The hubby had a NY strip and I had the pepper steak. We would return again when in Ouray!

This place had great food, atmosphere and ambiance, top notch service from our server Matt that was very attentive and helpful.

We enjoyed Ouray very much. This restaurant was highly recommended. My lamb chop was $30 and was the worse cut of meat I’ve ever eaten, very fatty and full of gristle! Everyone else in our party enjoyed their selections.

This place is awesome! We had the ribeye and the Alaskan king crab legs. They were AMAZING !! Our server, Matthew, was also top notch. We never had an empty drink and he checked on us constantly. Great experience at Outlaw.

This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is wonderful. I had the the trout and my girlfriend had the salmon. It was so good. The piano player was wonderful. The service and the people were great. Will be going back when we visit Ouray again. Highly recommend.

Where to start? For $7 you get about 3 oz of wine. The cheese ravioli comes with FOUR ravioli. FOUR. If you order a medium or medium well steak, you get well done no matter what. This place is clearly over rated. Laughable, really. I understand it’s a small town, but we came here because the reviews were good. Apparently, people do not venture out much. I mean, the bread was pretty good.

The service was good and the food was good, but pricey. Cool spot though, I would go back.

Really cool place awesome vibe the live piano was fantastic and service was phenomenal. Just thought the portion of the trout was way too small. Otherwise it was great!

Had escargot and the garlic was like non existent. Also had thick fires which were good. And the soup of day spinach artichoke and can't recall last but was delicious ! And so was the trout !

This is such a fun resturaunt! The pianist made for fantastic entertainment. The food was great, and the service was good. Well worth a visit!

Atmosphere and service was great. Food not so much. The Brioche French toast was overcooked and tasteless. It was supposed to come with fresh berries but there were only a few slices. The Crab Benny had a frozen crab patty and the Hollandaise sauce was just okay. Will probably give them another chance if we are ever visiting there again.

What a great place to have Breakfast, Brunch, Or An evening Dinner...I do enjoyed my late morning Brunch... The food was absolutely Delicious...I will definitely return... The service was excellent !!!

Not gonna lie this place looks like a dump but is totally legit. Awesome place, great food, poor beer selection but hey I’ll let it slide (clearly trying to push the fruity tooty cocktails). I recommend anything with their cognac sauce that stuff is awesome. You guys need to sell that stuff

We came into specifically see John Wayne's hat. A couple thirty seconds before us had the hat and they were taking pictures with it. I asked our waiter and then he went to the owner and the owner came over and says we can't do it anymore. I told her they just did it a minute ago and she says we have to start somewhere...Pretty BS attitude since we spent over 100 on a meal. There was no one other than two other tables in the whole restaurant so it wasn't busy. For her to come over and say they just started the policy is pretty BS....We won't be back

The steaks at the Iutlaw are some of the best I have ever had. Not to mention the quality of food in this restaurant is well beyond what you would expect. The presentation on the plate, the attention paid to excellent sides and even the entertainment make this restaurant the best in Ouray. Definitely try the filet and also the lobster.

Service was great. Had prime rib . Good portion. Aujus and trimmings were served in little plastic containers, such as used fast food places. To me, you can provide fine dining or you can provide fast food, mixing the two are not a plus.

Spaghetti and meatballs were very tasty. Our last night in Ouray and we had to check it out. Worth a stop for sure. The steaks looked awesome too
